Good progress on Wissey development
The drilling of the Wissey development well started in mid December 2007 and is progressing well. The field is being developed as a single well subsea tieback to the Tullow operated Horne and Wren facility. The main production pipeline was laid without incident during summer 2007 and first gas is expected in Q3 2008. Partner interests in Wissey are Tullow (operator) 62.5%, First Oil 18.75%, Faroe 18.75%. P50 reserves net to First Oil are estimated at 5.9 BSCF. (January 2008) |
