Extensive 08/09 drilling programme
First Oil is pleased to announce a drilling programme of eight exploration and four development wells for the financial year 08/09. Highlights include development drilling on the Wissey and West Don fields and appraisal of the Quad 21 Fyne discovery. Two of the exploration wells will be operated by First Oil, representing an important step in the evolution of the company. A further one or possibly two wells may be drilled on existing acreage in the period. In addition, First Oil continues to build its acreage position and plans to add to the drilling programme with selected high quality opportunities. (January 2008) |
