Oil column discovered at Kerloch
The Dana operated Kerloch appraisal well, 211/22a-10, in the UK Northern North Sea discovered oil in good quality sands in the Ness Formation of the Brent Group. The crude oil gravity is around 32 degrees API with a low gas oil ratio in line with other discoveries in the area. Downhole oil samples have been collected and the Kerloch well has been suspended for potential future use. First Oil farmed out 10% of Kerloch to Granby and retains a 19% interest in 211/22a.
